Meet the Teachers!

Room 6

My name is Whaea Kathleen and this year I am teaching a Year 0 - 2 class in Room 6.

I grew up in Tokoroa and we raised our children there.

I am a very experienced junior teacher, teaching for many years in Tokoroa and Rotorua.

We moved to Hamilton so that we could spend lots of time with our three children and grandchildren.

Room 7

Kia ora koutou,
I am Whaea Jose and I am excited to begin my journey at Insoll Avenue School in Room 7. I'm a mum to four - 19, 18, 13 and 7 years. If I'm not in the classroom, you will find me standing sideline of the rugby field or on an outdoor adventure.
My experience has been in the junior school for the past 5 years. I believe when we give our tamariki opportunities to fly they will soar!
I am looking forward to working alongside our Insoll whaanau and tamariki.

Room 8

I have been teaching at Insoll Avenue School for eight years.

I live on Tramway Road so you might see me walking to school!       I grew up on a farm -out of Taumarunui, alongside the Whanganui River.  My hobbies at the moment are reading and gardening.

  Kind regards, Whaea Anna

Looking forward to nurturing our little ones with passion and love to grow holistically.

As the saying goes “Rome was not built in a day” likewise, let’s make a difference in the life of our akonga together with our positive efforts and patience. Vinaka.
